Dow Graduates Association of North America

The Dow Graduates Association of North America (DOGANA) is the largest and most active alumni body of Dow University of Health Sciences graduates residing in the United States and Canada. Established in the early 1980s, DOGANA has grown into a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting Dowites, supporting their professional growth, and giving back to their alma mater.

DOGANA serves as a bridge between DUHS and its global alumni, creating opportunities for academic exchange, research collaboration, student mentorship, and resource mobilization. Through annual meetings, conferences, and professional networking events, it provides a platform for Dow graduates to stay connected and celebrate their shared identity.

DOGANA has consistently supported DUHS in advancing medical education and healthcare delivery. Key contributions include:

• Establishing a digital pathology infrastructure at DUHS to enhance diagnosis and training.
• Initiating student observership and exchange programs with leading institutions in North America, including the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
• Providing financial aid, scholarships, and mentorship for DUHS students.
• Supporting faculty development and collaborative research programs.

Dear Dowites,

Happy New Year! As I step into the role of President of DOGANA, my heart is full of gratitude and humility. To be entrusted with leading this family of Dowites across North America is both an honor and a responsibility I do not take lightly.

DOGANA has always been more than an association. It is a circle of friendship, mentorship, and shared memories that connect us across miles and generations. I have been inspired by the dedication of those who came before me, and I know that whatever we achieve in the year ahead will be possible only because of the collective spirit we share.

My hope for 2026 is simple: that we continue to lift each other up, celebrate one another's successes, and be there in times of need. I want to listen to your ideas, learn from your experiences, and ensure that every member feels included and valued. Together, we can keep building a community that reflects the best of who we are.
